From the classrooms of District 131 to the national stage! 🏆⚽

Huge congratulations to former Tomcat Dacian Delgado on winning the U19 Division of the MLS NEXT Cup with the Columbus Crew Academy! Dacian was a standout during the tournament with a goal and two assists, and he is currently the #2 leading scorer in the entire country.

Before he was tearing it up in the MLS NEXT league, Dacian was working hard right here in our community, first as an Oak Park Elementary student, and then at Cowherd Middle School, before being drafted into the Academy.

To all of our current students grinding out there on the field and in the classroom: Dacian is proof of where your dedication, late nights, and hard work can take you.
East Aurora is so proud of you, Dacian! Keep shining and showing the world what Tomcat pride is all about!

East Aurora School District 131 is seeking additional dogs and dog handlers to join our growing EA PAWS program! Our comfort dog teams play an important role in supporting students’ emotional well-being, reducing stress, and helping create welcoming school environments across the district.

As we kick off summer break, District 131 families are encouraged to start scheduling back-to-school health appointments now to avoid the late summer rush ☀️📚

Please remember that all required health forms and immunization records must be submitted to your child’s school building by August 19, 2026.

Health requirements include:

🩺 Child health exam & updated immunizations:
• Kindergarten
• 6th grade
• 9th grade
• Any student new to District 131

💉 Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine:
• Required for all 12th graders
• Must be received on or after the student’s 16th birthday

🦷 Dental exam:
• Kindergarten
• 2nd grade
• 6th grade
• 9th grade

👁️ Vision exam:
• Kindergarten
• Any student enrolling in an Illinois school for the first time

Registration is now open for the East Aurora High School Summer Camps!

Students entering grades 9-12 can sign up now through the EAHS SNAP! Athletics site. Camps are available for a variety of sports including basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, cheer, dance, wrestling, tennis, golf, cross country, badminton, and more, no experience required!

This is a great opportunity for students to stay active, build skills, meet teammates, and get connected before the school year begins. Strength and conditioning sessions are also available throughout the summer.
