🍕 Last week our hospitality committee provided one last catered lunch for our staff! Maciano's Pizza & Pastaria pizza & salad was much appreciated in the craziness of the last week of school!

👏🏻 Thank you to everyone who volunteered this year and to those that have planned our last few events of the year!

🐾 We had another successful alumni walk today!!! So great to see all of the graduates walk the halls again! Huge shout out and THANK YOU 👏🏻 to Donna Blake Mason in our front office & our PTA alumni walk committee Jennifer Cocogliato Clark and Jaclyn Ward for all their hard work organizing, coordinating, reaching out to our grads and parents, making lists and slideshows! A lot of hard work and effort went into making today as special as it was!! 💙💚

🧢 ⚾️ 📖 Yesterday was a special day for the huskies! The students completed a reading program and were able to attend a Kane County Cougars baseball game ! What a perfect day for a whole school field trip!! The PTA was happy to fund the busses to keep the trip completely free for students!
💚💙 Last spring we lost a former Homestead crossing guard, and involved Homestead grandpa. A memorial fund was set up in his name for those that wished to donated to Homestead in his memory. We used the funds for new school wide banners for above everyone’s door & to help pay for the busses for the baseball game! 💚💙

💚🐾💙 we finished the second half of staff appreciation week with a parent donated lunch Wednesday (thank you to everyone who donated!!! 👏🏻) , a yummy baked potato bar Thursday, and Brusters brought their ice cream truck Friday and each staff member got to pick an ice cream flavor and toppings to enjoy during their lunch!! We raffled off a total of 76 amazing prizes all week to our staff as well! Our Camp Homestead week was so much fun and a huge success thanks to our amazing staff appreciation committee Sofia Gonzalez, Jaclyn Bósoli & Katie Bosco!!!! Great work making our staff feel extra special and appreciated this week!! 🤩🤩🤩👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
