This week, our third graders stepped into the world of opinion writing — and even into the world of mythology! Students were challenged to choose a god or goddess and write a convincing opinion piece explaining why that deity deserves to have a statue built in their honor.
Our young writers worked hard to clearly state their opinions, support them with strong reasons, and wrap up with thoughtful conclusions.
It was amazing to see their creativity, critical thinking, and confidence shine through their writing. We are so proud of the effort they put into becoming persuasive authors!
