Today is the day, Field Day is finally here! We are excited for a fun filled day of games, laughter, teamwork, and memories for our Wolves.

A huge thank you goes out to our parent volunteers, PTO, and especially Mr. Barry for the incredible amount of time, energy, and planning that has gone into making today such a special experience for our students and school community.

To help your child have the best day possible, please make sure they are dressed appropriately for the weather, with temperatures expected to be around 62 degrees. We encourage students to wear layers and comfortable play shoes. Please also ensure your child brings a water bottle to school and arrives with sunscreen already applied.

For the safety of our students, Field Day is closed to the public. Please know we have the full support of our TW staff, along with our volunteers, helping supervise and care for students throughout the event. I will also be sharing photos from the day, so please keep an eye out for an email from me later this week!

Volunteers - please arrive 15 mins early to check in by Door 9 and find your station.

This year, Field Day will be split into two sessions:
• K–2nd Grade: 9:15–11:15 AM
• 3rd–5th Grade: 1:45–3:45 PM

Volunteers - please arrive 15 minutes early
 to check in by door 9 (on the blacktop behind the school gym) so you have time to find your station and ask any questions.

Please have your child wear their grade color that day, dress appropriately for outdoor play, bring a labeled water bottle, wear sunscreen, etc.

💙Lastly, as the 2025-2026 school year nears the end, the PTO wants to thank all of the families, staff, and teachers who helped make this year extra special. The PTO is able to host awesome events and contribute meaningfully to The Wheatlands community because of the continued support of members and volunteers.

A very special thanks goes to several PTO Board members who have gone above and beyond with their commitment and will be “graduating" from The Wheatlands PTO this year. Please join us in thanking Maria Sweeney, Marynell Metroff, and Piccina Carini-Donofrio for their amazing contributions to The Wheatlands!

Today we treated our amazing Wheatlands staff to Panera boxed lunches as part of Staff Appreciation Week and our 25th Anniversary celebration! 🥪🥗

We are so thankful for the teachers and staff who help our students learn, grow and thrive each and every day. Thank you for all you do for our school community — today and every day!
