Classrooms full of students are buzzing and our faculty and staff are ready to support another semester of learning and opportunity. Our Aurora Public Schools Superintendent even stopped by yesterday to help us kick things off!

Last week, the Colorado Department of Higher Education released the 2026 Higher Education Return on Investment Report. Here are some highlights:

♦️Graduates with certificates can see an average of nearly 35% wage growth over their first 10 years in the workforce
♦️Nearly all Colorado students from families earning less than $75,000 a year who apply for aid receive financial assistance
♦️Data consistently shows that higher levels of education are associated with higher employment rates, lower unemployment, and greater lifetime earnings

Colorado Tops U.S. News Education Rankings Gov. Jared Polis touts the positive impact of Colorado’s strategic education initiatives, including dual-enrollment courses and universal pre-K.

✨ We’re pleased to announce that Pickens Technical College has selected Andrew Vidockler as our new Director.

Andrew brings extensive experience in curriculum development, instruction, and leadership, including six years at Pickens Tech already under his belt, where he has served as Assistant Director since 2020.

A graduate of William Paterson University, Regis University and CU Denver, Andrew holds advanced degrees in curriculum and instruction, as well as holding a principal’s license and career and technical education director license from the Colorado Department of Education.
