Hello Friends and Students! I wanted to announce that after 25 years as a music teacher, I am retiring and have begun a new career path as an equities trader. I will miss all my students terribly since that is the best part of the job….watching my students grow. I will admit that watching Glee with my teenage daughter is one of my guilty pleasures. Other than the fact that it is funny, I love that they take great songs from the past (80's and 90's) and "restyle" them.

Was watching a show last night and they were making fun of the "lamest music video ever". I had forgotten how bad it was. It came out when I was a teenager. Was working with 10 year old student Ella yesterday. I was showing her how you can also play piano by chords and sing along. She was so excited she was literally jumping up and down! This is why I love my job:-)
