The Orange bus will be canceled on Tuesday, May 26. If your student normally rides the Orange bus in the morning or afternoon and you are unable to bring them to school that day, please call the school on Tuesday morning to report the absence so it can be excused.

🚌Transportation sign-up for the 2026–2027 school year is closing soon on May 15. Reposting this with the attachment for those who haven’t had a chance to sign up yet.
We have 200 families signed up so far. If you haven’t signed up yet, please do so before the form closes at midnight on May 15.

👋Vega Families,
We are holding a dental 🦷screening during school for 5-8th grade students. The screening will provide a visual check with a small light and a dental mirror. This screening does not replace a regular dental check-up, which is recommended at least once a year.

An opt-out form was sent home with all students. Please return the form with signatures if you DO NOT want your kid to get a dental screening at school.

Providers from the APS dental clinic will be following up with parents whose kids have urgent dental needs.

Vega has put together a resource with QR codes for food banks and pantries locators in our community. Starting May 1st, refugees, asylums and non-US citizens will not be eligible for SNAP.
