Vanguard West Volunteers

Hey Vanguard friends,
I was wondering if any parents out there would be interested in starting a support group for parents?
I know so many of us and our students are struggling with the remote learning format.

Our teachers are going back to the school this week so we prepared some tasty treats for them!

For Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week the families of VCS would like to say "Thank You!". Thursday is "Wish Lists and E-Gift Cards".

We asked our teachers and staff to create an Amazon Wish List of some of their favorite things so that we can say "Thank You" for supporting our kids and pushing forward and achieving excellence every day during the school year, and especially during this challenging Spring quarter.

We published the links to the teachers' and staffs' wish lists we received under their respective Class Pages on the VCS website. E-gift cards are also welcome and can be delivered to their vanguardclassical.org email addresses. We are still waiting on a few wish lists so please check back if you do not see your favorite teacher's or staff's wish list posted yet.

Tune into the Vanguard Classical School board meeting this Thursday, April 23rd, at 6:30pm. They will go live from the Vanguard Classical School page. Bring any questions, concerns, praises, or recommendations that you have about e-learning for the remainder of the 19/20 calendar or the 20/21 school year.

To all the west parents out there,
Amy Sullenberger needs a parent who is background checked to volunteer for a field trip for this friday (1/17) from 10:30-2. They are seeing goodnight moon!

The Teacher's Breakfast is an annual event in which the parent volunteers donate time and food to feed the teachers during the last planning day of the year.

Just wanted to remind everyone at West to bring in gifts for teachers party by Friday!!
