Our Community

Cosmic Montessori School is a unique community of educators. We represent a variety of cultures that have come together to create an ideal place for exploration, constructive experiences, movement, discovery, communication, and friendship. Our campus is very proud of all of our ‘Green’ efforts, we aim to be paperless, use organic cleaning supplies, have an organic garden in our out

door community and will continue to expand our efforts. We also provide healthy snacks and have an optional organic hot lunch for all of our students.We are a community which believes that education involves the entire family. In order to achieve our and your goals for your child, Cosmic Montessori School helps parents, friends and family develop environments geared towards learning, reinforcing lessons and activities practiced during the child’s school day. We achieve this by focusing on these principles:

Children take a natural pleasure in learning to master their environment
This mastery is the basis of the sense of competence necessary for independence
Real learning involves the ability to do things for oneself, not the passive reception of a body of knowledge
School must be part of the community and involve the parents if education is to be effective.

Day 7 | One Team. One Vision. Endless Possibilities. ✨

Behind every beautiful Montessori environment is something even more important, a team of educators who learn, grow, laugh, and work together with a shared purpose.

Day 7 of our Teacher In-Service was about strengthening the human environment of our school. Different cultures, experiences, talents, and perspectives come together at Cosmic Montessori with one thing at the center of everything we do, the child.

We believe children don’t just learn from what we teach. They learn from the community we create around them.

This is our team.
This is our culture.

As our Elementary Summer Program comes to a close, we’re left with hearts full of gratitude and memories that will last a lifetime.

This summer was so much more than a break from school. It was a season of adventure, discovery, and growth. Our students cooked together, created incredible works of art, climbed, bounced, jumped, explored new places on field trips, and laughed until their cheeks hurt.

But above all, they built something even more meaningful, friendships that will outlast the summer.

The activities will become memories. The photos will fill our albums. But the confidence they gained, the joy they shared, and the friendships they formed are what they’ll carry with them long after summer ends.

Thank you to our amazing students, families, and staff for making this a summer we’ll never forget. ❤️

A week of preparing environments, planning summer experiences, and getting ready to welcome our campers ended the best way we know how, together. 💙

Making Strudel with our elementary students. Strudel is a traditional dessert from Central Europe, especially Austria. The word strudel means “whirlpool” or “spiral” in German, referring to the rolled shape of the pastry. Influenced by Ottoman desserts such as baklava, it later spread throughout the Austro-Hungarian Empire and into northern Italy, especially Trentino-Alto Adige.

From sketches to silhouettes, the Fashion Show Exhibit came to life through the vision and dedication of Ms. Meenal. Inspired by a vibrant K-pop theme thoughtfully adapted for the children, the experience blended fashion, movement, color, and contemporary artistic expression in a way that deeply resonated with the students.

Throughout the journey, children explored creativity while also learning the technical language of fashion design, discovering concepts such as texture, form, styling, and presentation.

It quickly became one of the children’s most beloved works of the year, reflecting the beauty that emerges when art, precision, and imagination meet in the prepared environment. Thank you, Ms. Meenal, for your meaningful contribution to the arts at Cosmic.

In our Elementary cooking class, the children gather each week not only to prepare food, but to practice patience, collaboration, independence, and care for one another. Measuring, mixing, chopping, and sharing become meaningful experiences where practical life meets community around the table.
