Kaneland Key Club

Last night key club held their 2025-2026 banquet. Our Kiwanis advisors Tom and Karen came with ice cream and a cake to congratulate the club on its successful year. Brooklyn handed off her presidency to Aleena. A special thanks to all that came and did any volunteer work, you are all appreciated! We also passed our awards for our hard working members!!

Happy last meeting! Key club held their last meeting for the 25-26 year! We had donuts and colored clips. Reminder Key club banquet is in the library May 5th at 5 p.m.

Today, our club members stuffed easter eggs for the Sugar Grove easter egg hunt that will be happening March 27th. We also elected 4 new people on to our board who will be joining us next year as shadows. Results will be posted soon!

Please come join us March 27th, Volunteer Park Sugar Grove, for the Sugar Grove park district Easter Egg hut. Volunteers are needed. Please dill out the form in Google Classroom.

Key club voting is happening next meeting (March 11th)! If you are interested in applying reach out to Aleena for more information. Please submit forms to Mrs. K***z no later than March 10th. If you apply voting will happen at the meeting where you have to speak why you deserve the role. Then club members present will vote on positions.

Today’s meeting recap: We made Valentine’s day cards for Marklund, Talked about selling cookies (2 boxes sold belt every member by the 14th), and Kiwanis president Tom Sorfleet stopped by with donuts!
