Giselle Martinez '28 recently joined student leaders from across the country as Illinois' representative in the Henry Clay Center College Student Congress. Through the national program, which selects one student from each state to participate in an intensive two-week study, she engaged with elected officials, Supreme Court justices, policy experts, and fellow student leaders at the University of Kentucky and American University.

After a week of exploring Italy’s rich history and culture, the Math Exploration with Cultural Experiences and Health Across History and Culture courses have returned home! Students wrapped up their time in Rome by visiting world-famous sites, including the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill, while continuing to connect real-world moments with classroom concepts.
