It was great to see another Negro Leagues player receiving recognition. Mr. Dennis Biddle came years after Ted Strong, Jr, but he made his mark in the Negro Leagues by becoming “the man who struck out the Man!” Only those of you who were in attendance in Aurora, IL will know what that means. We want to see more Negro Leagues players get the recognition they most certainly deserve. (Photo credits Rick Guzman and Sherman Jenkins).

We are here in Cooperstown, NY to attend the annual Jerry Malloy Negro Leagues Baseball Conference. As always great presentations and insightful discussions. For the second year in a row the grandchildren of my book and publisher of TMSG have accompanied him to the conference.
