Hello all!

My name is Jordan Brosius and I’m the new 6th grade band teacher at Washington this year! I’m so happy to be a part of the Washington family and to be teaching in SD129, which has such high standards for the Fine Arts!

We’re bringing back the Washington Middle School Band page with some recordings of the 6th grade performance from our concert this past Wednesday, March 15. Dear Band Families- This will be my last post as Band Director at Washington Middle School. Thank you for the many years of support that you have given to me and the students in the program. I have memories that will last a lifetime and I owe a debt of gratitude to all of you who played a part in the success of the band program. I am excited for you to meet the new director, Mrs. Morgan Smith, who happens to be my former student. In her already 5 years with District 129, her accomplishments are too numerous to mention in this post but be assured that your students will absolutely love her. The best thing that you can do for me during this time is to keep your students involved in the band program. I can't wait to see the places your kids are going to go! Signing off- Mrs. Thompson
