Hi all! I had been saving all the craft supplies and toys that we used daily right up until the last day. We went through all of it this morning and thought that some of the kids might still enjoy some of these items, since we used them alllll the time. Please let me know if you’d like anything from here and I’ll save it until you come come get it. If no one wants any of it, I’ll put what’s left on Facebook marketplace Wednesday or Thursday.

TOY GIVEAWAY:

Today from 9-12, I will be giving away most of the daycare toys and equipment. Feel free to come by and take anything from the driveway. Anything left at noon will be donated.

To all of our families, thank u for the 21 years of working with all of u and getting to know u on a personal level. I will forever miss my time with all of u. With that being said this summer while I look for work I will be available for any babysitting u may need upon availability on my part. If u want to get out without the kiddos or r in a pinch please feel free to text me and if possible I’d be happy to help out♥️ thank u again for trusting myself and everyone and the opportunity to love and care for your children

Little Kids on the Block Group Daycare Home is hosting a party on our LAST DAY of daycare, which is Monday, June 3rd. We will have an ice cream social from 4:00-5:30 that day, so if you are a parent or child who has attended daycare with us over the past 28 years, please feel free to stop by and say hello and goodbye from 4:00-5:30.
I would like to thank you all for so many years of doing a job that's been an absolute blessing to have the privilege to do. Your kids and families have been the reason that I woke up smiling every day, excited to go to work and teach these sweet, amazing, complex little people. It's been a pure joy!
EQUIPMENT & TOY GIVEAWAY! 4:00-5:30 is the time when we will be giving away all of our toys and equipment too. So please bring tools, a large vehicle, and help, if you need it, to help you take out any toys and equipment that you'd like to have. We will still have kids here, so we can't be sure that we will be able to help take apart or load things. At 5:30, everything left will be going into a dumpster. I cannot hold anything after that date. We have painters and carpet coming the next 2 days and nothing can be left in the house.
ALTERNATE DATE for toy pick up: In the interest of getting some of our equipment and toys out of here a little earlier, I would like to invite anyone at all, previous daycare parent or not, to come on a different day, as well. Next, Saturday, May 25th from 9-12 to take a look at all the toys and equipment that are ready to go that day.
I would love to see these things find a good home, so please join us for both days, as I will have different things available on those 2 days.

Friends. neighbors, & daycare families:

Because we’re moving and closing the daycare, I am getting rid of every toy, piece of equipment, crib, and outdoor toy I own. I am not selling anything- just giving it away.

If you are in need of anything at all or just want to come by and skim through what I have, please feel free to come by and look at what is here from week to week. The stuff I have will rotate from week to week, as I need to keep a lot of the things we use daily until the very end. If you are looking for something specific, please send me a text and I can tell you if I have something specific and can label and save it for you to come get it.

I am not going to have time to take pictures to either send them to others or post and sell them on eBay or marketplace. So please don’t ask. I’m truly just too busy right now to send out individual pictures unless you are looking for something specific. Most of the stuff I have is going to be on the shelf for a week and then taken to goodwill in order for me to have the house ready for sale at the beginning of June.
On June 3rd, at 5:30, the very last of the toys and equipment will be given away. If you can not come by between 4:30-5:30 that day, you’re welcome to come see what we have left the next day. We will be completely done that day. All remaining toys will be donated that night.
