Meet Julian Jones, the newest principal of Cherokee Trail High School! 🐾💙 Principal Jones has a special connection to the Cougar community. He was there when Cherokee Trail opened its doors in 2003, beginning his journey at the school as a teacher. Now, more than two decades later, he steps into the role of principal, bringing years of experience and a deep connection to the school he helped build. Dear Cherokee Trail Students, Families, and Caregivers,
I hope you're enjoying the final days of summer. We’re excited to welcome back our returning students and extend a warm welcome to those joining us for the first time.
📆 First Week Schedule
Monday, August 17 – 9th Grade & New Students Only
• Eat lunch on campus
• Students must wear their CT-issued ID from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM while on campus
• Buses depart CT at 3:30 PM
Tuesday, August 18 – All Students, A Day Schedule
• Regular Bell Schedule
Wednesday, August 19 – All Students, B Day Schedule + Advisory
• Advisory schedule
Thursday, August 20, and Friday, August 21 – All Students, Regular Bell Schedule
📖 Student Schedules
Student schedules will be available on Wednesday, August 12th at 5:00 PM.
To view your schedule, log in to PowerSchool through your My.CherryCreek dashboard.
🛠 Schedule Corrections
Students may submit a Schedule Correction Form through Friday at 12:00 PM.
• You must be logged into your CCSD account to access the form.
• After Friday, any additional requests must be made in person during a student’s off period the first week of school.
• Only corrections that meet the criteria outlined in the CTH Schedule Change Policy will be considered.
