Mesabi East Communities- As we all know, the Mesabi East Communities are absolutely amazing! When it comes to helping out someone or a family in need, we all step up. We are asking that of you now, as one of our own teachers, Mrs. Ally Cundy, High School Physical Education Teacher and Assistant Girl’s Basketball Coach needs us. Last week, Ally had to have an emergency C-section to deliver her and Brodie’s son, Decker. This was an extremely early delivery and Decker was airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis. Ally also was transferred once she stabilized so she could be with Decker.
Ally, Brodie, and their other son, Crew, will be in Minneapolis until Decker is ready to come home. That said, Ally will be out of work for the remainder of the school year and Brodie will be traveling back and forth with Crew to be with them. The staff at Mesabi East is asking for your students to bring in any extra change for a coin drive to help with their travel expenses and necessities while in Minneapolis. Coins can be brought to the High School Office and put into buckets. Let’s prove that we are truly a GIANT community and show our love and support for Ally and her family.
