Learning strategies are just one piece of the puzzle. Nutritional strategies are a hugely important factor!

Much of our inspiration comes from personal experience within our own family helping struggling learners overcome and break through into their full capabilities. Breanna recently shared: "We need different answers for struggling kids. As a struggling child, myself, I needed very drastic, alternative strategies. The traditional approach slowed down was frustrating and painful. Our approach could be the unique answer your child needs!"

Learning issues are often missed or ignored, because bright – often gifted – kids may be doing reasonably well in school. Unfortunately, they find academic tasks frustrating and often do what they can to avoid anything involving pen and paper. Often, the paradox is that because they are so bright, they look around and see how reading and writing are easy for their peers and come to the conclusion that they must not be very smart. Brain Integration Therapy is an easy-to-use at-home therapy program that brings dramatic results. This manual provides an overview of how the brain works, right brain vs. left brain traits, and why a child is struggling to learn.

The manual gives detailed information on the four identified learning gates and how to determine which of these gates are blocked for your child. It teaches daily exercises (15-20 minutes) and once-a-week brain training sessions (20 minutes) to actually use the child’s body to make brain connections that effectively un-block these gates. At the beginning of a consultation, we do a series of informal tests, looking at the visual and visual/motor processing specifically. For example, we have a child track a pencil that we move in a straight line from left to right across his field of vision. A small “jiggle” in the eyes as the pencil crosses the midline can show underdevelopment of the midline which can lead to learning trouble. Our Midline Therapy can help your child to develop more quickly and effectively!
