🎶🗽 What an unforgettable experience in New York City for our choir students! 🗽🎶

From learning alongside Broadway professionals to performing in one of the most breathtaking venues in the country, this trip was filled with once-in-a-lifetime opportunities and lasting memories.

✨ Highlights included:
🎭 Meeting and learning from Annbritt duChateau, a Broadway music director whose credits include Frozen and Aladdin. Annbritt is a proud WAHS alum (1983) and A+ Foundation for West Aurora Schools Distinguished Hall of Honor member (2010) ❤️💙

🎤 Participating in a Broadway workshop led by industry professionals and a cast member from The Outsiders.

🎟️ Attending two Broadway productions, including the Tony Award-winning Best Musical The Outsiders!

⛪ Performing a concert at Cathedral of St. John the Divine, the largest church in North America, where students experienced its incredible architecture and acoustics.

🏙️ Exploring Manhattan with local guides, visiting iconic sites including the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, Wall Street, Central Park, and Times Square.

🗽 Visiting Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty to connect with the history and stories that helped shape our nation.

We are so proud of our students for representing our school with excellence, curiosity, and professionalism throughout the trip. The memories made, lessons learned, and inspiration gained will stay with them long after the final curtain call. ❤️💙
