Dear Aurora Families and Community Partners,
Lunch Bunch is back for its 9th year of feeding youth in the Aurora community! To date, we have served over 22,770 meals and we can’t wait to see that number continue to grow.
After careful consideration, we have made the decision that we will be offering lunch and fun 3-days per week on Tuesdays, Wednesday’s, and Thursdays at Refshauge Park (300-412 14th St, Aurora, NE 68818) starting June 2nd. There is no sign-in or sign-up needed. We welcome friends and families from any community! We want to specifically thank the Hamilton County Foundation and Heartland United Way for their monetary donations to make this possible.
Lunch Bunch, though, cannot continue to run without a little help from the community! We are seeking 1) Volunteers willing to help serve food and ensure there is plenty of fun to be had! 2) Donations for craft and game supplies

We’re on the home stretch! Our last day for the 25-26 school year at the Elementary School is Tuesday, May 19, with an 11:15 am dismissal. The last day for our preschool program will be Monday, May 18.

🌺 Aurora High School horticulture students and their teacher, Mrs. Cordonier, showcased their talents by transforming the planters at the Elementary building this morning, bringing a burst of beauty to our community! Thank you!

Summer fun at the Edgerton Explorit Center! They are offering 54 camps covering a wide variety of STEAM topics including science, technology, engineering, art, math, animal science, trades science, robotics, veterinary science, chemistry, space, and more. Many of the camps are taught by high school and college mentors as part of the center’s hands-on learning approach.

Scholarships are available for students experiencing financial need or hardship. Students who qualify for the free and reduced lunch program may qualify for free summer camps through their scholarship program. Scholarship application and registration is available at www.edgerton.org/
