Calling All Business Owners and Student Parents With A Generous Heart

Do you own a business or know of one willing to donate a silent auction item, basket, or service? Are you wondering what to do with unused airline miles? Do you have access to a vacation home or rental? Are you holding onto an unused, unwanted gift or a gift card that you’ll never use? If so, please consider submitting a tax-deductible donation for Aurora Central Catholic High School’s 26th Annual Super Saturday Night fundraiser, May 5-7, 2022 (Cinco de Mayo "Sip & See" Cocktail Reception) The hybrid fundraiser will help support student programs, maintain low tuition costs and advance the school’s new Strength & Fitness Center. This year’s Cinco De Mayo theme, “Nacho Average Celebration,” will feature a silent auction, raffles, and a virtual Fund-A-Need program.

Donations will be accepted now through Friday, April 8. This is a great opportunity for businesses to give back to the community and promote their goods and services to student families, alumni, and local community members. We would like to start out this week with a moment of GRATITUDE & to share with our community some very, VERY exciting news!!!

The “Aurora Central Catholic High School Alumni Endowment Fund” has officially been announced and started!!!

The Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley, Bishop Malloy (Diocese of Rockford) & Father Etheredge, presented a💲500,000 gift on behalf of an extremely generous family who founded the endowment fund!

The endowment fund will be used to help families make Catholic education at ACC, a reality, by assisting those in financial need. The family hopes their gift will encourage others to give to the fund as well!

ACC alum, Vic Puscas will be running in the Boston Marathon on October 11th! He is participating as a "charity runner" for the American Liver Foundation!!! Let's send him well wishes as he embarks on this spiritual & physical journey!!!

Once upon a time, I was a police officer. This fall, I will be running in the Boston Marathon in an attempt to raise money for the American Liver Foundation.

ALUMNA UPDATE: Carla Carmon, ('21) just received her team assignment for NET Ministries!!! NET challenges young Catholics to love Christ and embrace the life of the Church. Every August, 175 young Catholics aged 18-28 leave behind their jobs, school, family, and friends to devote nine months to serving with the National Evangelization Teams (NET).

Divided into 16 teams, they travel across the U.S. for nine months to share the Gospel with young people and their families. Since 1981, NET teams have led over 34,000 retreats and ministered to more than 2.1 million young Catholics.

Congratulations, Carla!!! We are so excited for your new journey!
