Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate Victoria Williams, Founder and CEO of the Wake N family of brands, on the launch of Wake N Take™ Hard Candy, officially available starting today.

Victoria’s journey in the Illinois cannabis industry is one rooted in perseverance, consistency, and doing the work even when the odds were stacked. Her accomplishments speak volumes:

She is the first person in Illinois to be issued a Cannabis Transportation License.
She founded Illinois’ first Black woman-owned v**e line.
She founded Illinois’ first Black woman-owned pre-roll line.
She is among the first African American women to successfully place a product in an Illinois dispensary.

Each of these milestones represents more than a business win. They represent doors opened, systems navigated with integrity, and standards set for those coming behind her.

But beyond the launches, licenses, and headlines, what stands out most about Victoria is who she is at her core. Her faith. Her family. Her commitment to operating with professionalism, even when no one is watching. Those values are the true foundation of everything she builds.

Victoria, thank you for the example you continue to set and the path you have laid for others. Your work has not gone unnoticed, and your impact reaches far beyond today’s launch.
