This principle is lived out each week in our Challenge program. Tutors guide discussion rather than lecture, inviting students into seminar-style learning where questions are welcomed and ideas are explored together. By discussing and presenting assignments, students begin making connections across subjects— including math, science, history, literature, economics, philosophy, and theology.

🤔💭 This trains students to not only know answers but to think well, ask good questions, and pursue wisdom.

📸 Community Snapshot

This week in community, students got their hands dirty, feet chilly, and minds engaged!

🎨 Fine Arts
We studied the work of Thomas Gainsborough, learning how he loved painting landscapes and often included portraits so his work would sell. Students attended to his color palette and experimented with mixing paints to mimic the tones he used.

🔬 Hands-on Science
Our science experiment explored heat energy and conduction. Students stood outside with one foot on aluminum foil and one on a rug to compare how different materials transfer heat. Aluminum felt colder because it’s a good conductor and drew heat away from the foot while the carpet acted as an insulator slowing heat loss.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn together— engaging minds, training habits of attention, and delighting in God’s creation.
