Kick off your Maine Paranormal & Horror Convention weekend on Friday, September 11, 2026, with an exclusive paranormal investigation at the historic Governor Hill Mansion in Augusta, Maine.

Built in 1901 by Maine's 45th Governor, John Fremont Hill, this incredible mansion has earned a reputation for unexplained activity. Staff and visitors have reported full-body apparitions, shadow figures, disembodied voices, and other chilling experiences throughout the property.

Your investigation will be led by the Boo Fighters and Chandler's Haunts from 9:00 PM until Midnight. Bring your favorite paranormal equipment, or use some of the gear that will be available on-site.

To give everyone the best possible experience, attendance is strictly limited to just 25 guests. Participants will be divided into five small groups of five, creating a more intimate and interactive investigation.

Today, we were dropping off a $1k check to Fort Western for the money we raised during the overnight investigation. When we showed up, guess who was filming there? This guy. Joshua Gates . You may know him from Expedition Unknown, Expedition X, Destination Truth as well as a few others. We were lucky enough to get to hang around for the day, watch the production, chat with him and the crew, talk about history and hauntings and what Boo Fighters does. It was a great day. Everyone is now walking around with Boo Fighters T- shirts! The crew was amazing and very patient with the extras. Everyone was hot and sweaty after a long day in the sun in wool clothing. I cant say enough good things about them. Until next time guys. Stay spooky.

How rude of us! We haven't introduced the most important member of the Boo Fighters team. This is Dave, Dave Ghoul. He is our quiet leader. He loves long walks in the dark, picking flowers from graves and spending hours talking to his friends through an Estes session., (hence why he always has headphones and a blindfold on). So next time you come to see us, whether it be at a con, investigation or at the The Happy Crow, don't forget to say hi to Dave!
