What qualifications do I need?

Kansas offers different tiers of substitute licenses depending on your education level:

Standard Substitute License: Requires a bachelor's degree and completion of an approved teacher preparation program.

Emergency Substitute License: Requires at least 60 semester credit hours from a regionally accredited college or university.

Greenbush Training Pathway (Expanded Emergency): For individuals with a high school diploma but less than 60 college credit hours, you can qualify by completing the Greenbush Emergency Substitute Training Modules and getting local district hire verification.

It’s a girl! 👧

We have our first girl in a second grade class full of boys. Although she is excited to start at her new school, she sure would love a girl in the class. If you have been holding back enrolling your daughter because of all the boys, now’s your time to enroll!!

We are still on the lookout for a part-time latchkey employee. Hours are 3:00pm-5:30pm on school days only. $15hr. We have someone willing to do a few days a week (M,W, F for example) so we only need the other days covered.

You may have seen the whole student body outside cheering this morning. A few of our students caught a ride on a fire truck to school today thanks to an auction item. We decided to wait outside for them and cheer on every student who came to school :)
