After the 8th grade promotion, Cony Administration, the Cony Middle School
Parent group, and the Grade 8 teachers hosted a dance for the Class of 2030 to celebrate their promotion! It was a great evening for our students!

What an amazing 8th grade Promotion for the Class of 2030 on Thursday, June 11th! From them walking in to the song, “Everyone wants to rule the world” to the awards to the
Class Speaker Natalie Peaslee to the awarding of certificates, the 8th graders were so fun to celebrate! Thank you to so many who helped to make this happen! Congratulations to our 8th
Graders. We are thrilled that we will see you in high school!

Congratulations to Erin Card for being selected the Maine Music Educators Association District Three Teacher of the Year! Mrs. Card was recognized at the Augusta School Board last night.

8th grade Promotion is scheduled for Thursday, June 11th at 5:30pm.

Social Studies teacher Darren Joyce, students Abby Leger and Cheyenne Trask and two Assistant District attorneys Shannon Flaherty and Amanda Seekins from the DA's office presented to the Curriculum and Education subcommittee tonight. The team want to gain approval for a new student group called Debate and Mock Trial student group. The proposal was approved by the subcommittee and will move to the full school board for approval.

We held an Egg Drop competition today for our grade 8 students! Students had to design and build an egg "holder" which was dropped from the top of our building! Students watched and cheered for their classmates! Thank you to Mr. Petersen our custodian for helping to drop the eggs and our Science teachers for leading the way-Mrs. Dauite and Mrs. Jackman!

Amazing 8th grade class trip on Tuesday! Thank you so much to the Cony Middle School Parent group for sponsoring such a wonderful experience for our students! Thank you to the 8th grade teachers and staff for being there for our students. We appreciate interstate Bowling and Rocky's Stove Shop for marking this happen!
