Gratitude is a practice that fosters conditions for enjoying more in life. As days get shorter, finding meaning and pleasure brings light to our spirits.
Write a letter to someone who has had positive impact on your life, specifically describing how you feel about what they have done for you, why you are grateful, and maybe even what they mean to you.
There is value in simply writing the letter, but if it is safe and possible, share the letter in person.
This happiness boosting exercise has been shown to have positive impact for up to a month!
Let me know if you have questions. May joy and ease be with you today.

Everyone is sabotaged by "the judge" voice in their heads. It's part of our original survival strategy. Finding fault with ourselves, others, and circumstances is a major cause of disappointment, anger, regret, guilt, shame and anxiety. With practice we can learn to catch, question and tame that voice.
