🎒8/26 is new student visit day and student drop-in day
✏️8/27 is the first full day of school for all students

🌱Back in May, SMS students helped prepare the St. Michael Parish garden for planting and brought the seedlings they had started out to the garden to plant. It's amazing to see the transformation over the course of the summer - check out those squash plants in August! So far this year, the Parish garden has donated 491.65 pounds of fresh vegetables to local food banks.

📚Mrs. Frasca read "Maxi's Secrets" by Lynn Plourde to the fifth graders during library this year. The story is about a young girl who is sightless and students were curious about what it might be like to not have the ability to see. To get an idea of what it might be like, students guided a blindfolded friend through the library and helped them identify different items through description. They were surprised and impressed at how difficult it was to find their way, even with the help of a friend!
