The Cougars definitely understood the assignment! 🔥

Jersey & Team Spirit Day had Cougar Nation outside swaggin’ and reppin’ their favorite teams! 🏀🏈⚾️🏒

The energy was UP, the jerseys were ON, and the Cougar spirit was everywhere! 🐾

And we kept the celebration going with the Cougar Fish Fry! 🐟🔥 Good food, music, games, and plenty of Cougar fun!

🩺✨ Happy Surgical Technology Week! ✨🩺

This week, we celebrate the incredible men and women who stand behind the scenes in the operating room and play such an essential role in every surgical procedure.

Surgical technologists are more than the instruments they pass. They are the calm in the chaos, the extra set of eyes, the protector of the sterile field, the teammate surgeons and nurses can depend on, and an advocate for every patient who enters the OR. 🩵

As an educator, one of the most rewarding parts of my career is watching students discover the dedication, discipline, and passion it takes to become a surgical technologist. Seeing them grow from nervous students into confident professionals who are ready to make a difference is something I will never take for granted.

To every surgical technologist, student, graduate, educator, and OR team member: thank you for what you do, for the patients you protect, and for the difference you make every single day.

Here’s to the profession that keeps the OR moving and the patients at the heart of everything we do. 🩺💙

▪️ Lynthia R. Ross, Founder and Chief Strategist of Crossroads Consulting Partners, LLC

▪️ Rhonda C. Davis, PE, is Vice President of Transportation and Augusta Office Leader for Goodwyn Mills Cawood (GMC).

Their combined expertise in human resources, strategic communications, and transportation engineering will strengthen Augusta Tech's mission as we continue serving the CSRA.
