Let’s just say a time was had! More pictures coming soon!

While 7 and up learned how to become an entrepreneur with Ready to Launch Program, these Little Learners worked on developing Pre-Entrepreneurial skills.

Littles practiced communication, confidence, problem-solving, leadership, and social skills.

A lot of parents worry about:
“Can my child count?”
“Do they know their ABCs?”

But after working with children for years, I can honestly tell you this:

The children who struggle MOST in the beginning of school are often struggling with:
✨ transitions
✨ emotional regulation
✨ communication
✨ independence
✨ following routines

And the good news?

These are SKILLS.
Skills can be taught, practiced, and strengthened 💛

If your little one struggles in some of these areas, this is not about shame or panic. Early support makes a HUGE difference.

That’s exactly why I created Learn4Kids — to help parents bridge the gap between “smart kid” and “school-ready kid.”

When most people hear “business market,” they think about selling things.

But for young children?

It’s SO much bigger than that 💛

Experiences like our upcoming Little Learners Business Market help children practice:
✨ communication
✨ confidence
✨ creativity
✨ problem-solving
✨ independence
✨ social interaction

These are REAL school readiness skills.

Children learn best when learning feels meaningful, exciting, and hands-on.

That’s one reason we’re so excited to partner with Kids Business Bootcamp 🚀

We’re helping create opportunities where children can learn through REAL experiences and build confidence while doing it.

Which life skill do you think is hardest for young children to learn right now?

One of the biggest misconceptions about kindergarten readiness is that children need to know EVERYTHING academically before school starts.

But honestly?

Teachers notice practical life skills almost immediately.

Can a child:
✨ follow directions?
✨ transition between activities?
✨ communicate needs?
✨ problem-solve?
✨ handle small responsibilities independently?

These skills help children feel more CONFIDENT in the classroom, and confidence changes everything 💛

At Learn4Kids, we believe real-world learning matters just as much as worksheets and flashcards.

That’s one reason we LOVE events like our Little Learners Business Market through Ready to Launch 🚀

Children gain:
✔️ confidence
✔️ communication skills
✔️ social interaction
✔️ leadership
✔️ independence

…all while having FUN.

Which skill do you think is MOST important before kindergarten?

One of the biggest concerns I hear from parents is:
“My child just doesn’t listen.”
It’s one of the biggest concerns I had too! Salah is brilliant… but those ears didn‘t really work. 😬

But honestly? A lot of our little ones are not trying to be “bad.” They just need more support with understanding expectations, transitions, and directions and ways to expend their energy.

One thing I always tell parents is this:
Young children do best with CLEAR and SIMPLE directions.

Instead of:
❌ “Go clean your room, put your shoes on, and stop playing.”

Try:
✅ “Put the blocks in the bin.”

Then move to the next step.

Many behaviors can improve when kids aren’t overwhelmed by too many instructions at once

Another tip?
✔️ Get close to them
✔️ Get eye contact
✔️ Say their name FIRST
✔️ Then give the direction

It sounds simple, but it makes a HUGE difference. There’s one more step, I’m talking about it in the group tonight if you want to know.

Disney will expose everything 😅💛

Before the rides, the snacks, and the pictures…
there are 3 skills your child REALLY needs to enjoy Disney (and honestly… school too 👀)

✨ 1. Listening
Not just hearing, but following directions the first time.

At Disney, that looks like:
👉 “Stay with me”
👉 “Wait here”
👉 “It’s our turn”

At school, it’s the same thing, just in a classroom.

Try this at home:
Give simple 1–2 step directions during play
“Pick up the toy and bring it to me”

🏃🏽‍♀️ 2. Stamina (yes, really 😅)
Disney is a LOT of walking, waiting, and moving.

Kids who aren’t used to active play?
They get tired… fast.

And tired = meltdowns.

Try this at home:
Daily movement—walking, dancing, playground time
Even 15–20 minutes builds endurance

🌱 3. Independence
This is the BIG one.

Can they:
• Go to the bathroom (with minimal help)
• Open snacks
• Stay calm when things don’t go their way

Because at Disney… and at school…
you can’t do everything for them.

Try this at home:
Let them try first
Even if it takes longer

The truth is…
these aren’t just “Disney skills”

These are life + school readiness skills 💛

And when kids build them early, everything else becomes easier

👇🏽 If you’re working on these with your little one, you’re already doing the right thing. what other practical skills do you think are needed at Disney and in the classroom?
