Students in the Elementary STEAM Education program got creative during a trip to Augusta Candle Company! 🕯️

As part of their STEAM exploration, students designed and created their own candles while enjoying time together.

The experience provided a fun opportunity to connect, collaborate and express creativity outside the classroom. A great day of learning, creativity and community!

Please be advised that the class schedule has been adjusted in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

With Labor Day fast approaching, please note an important change to the class schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Because the fall 2026 semester begins and ends on a Tuesday, the academic calendar includes an extra Tuesday and fewer Mondays. To ensure all classes meet the required instructional time, the schedule has been adjusted.

On Sept. 8:
- Monday, Monday/Wednesday, and Monday/Wednesday/Friday classes will meet.
- Tuesday and Tuesday/Thursday classes will not meet.

Please plan accordingly and check your course schedule and D2L for any additional information from your instructors.

Normal class schedule will resume Wednesday, Sept. 9. This schedule does not apply to the MD and DMD courses, which follow a different academic calendar.
