Copeland Elementary School Located in Augusta, Georgia, Copeland Elementary is proud to be part of the Richmond County School System. Named in honor of Starrett D.

Copeland, a dedicated superintendent who served the district in the 1930s, our school carries a legacy of educational excellence. We are an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) since 2022. Through this globally recognized curriculum, we foster inquiry-based learning, critical thinking, and a strong sense of global citizenship in every student.

Today, our Copeland Wildcats shined bright as they celebrated their positive behavior at our Glow Party! From the glowing lights to the nonstop fun, it was an unforgettable afternoon filled with Wildcat pride. 💙🖤

What an incredible day at Copeland Elementary! We were thrilled to welcome our amazing grandfriends for Game On With Grandparents Day. From laughter-filled games to special moments shared between generations, our school was filled with joy, love, and unforgettable memories.

Thank you to all of our wonderful grandfriends who took time out of their day to join us. Your presence made this event extra special, and our Wildcats loved spending quality time with you!

Copeland Elementary was honored to attend the SRP Federal Credit Union Investing in Education event yesterday! We are incredibly grateful to be one of 83 elementary schools across ten counties receiving this generous $2,500 investment.

We appreciate SRP’s commitment to supporting education and the opportunities this funding will create for our Wildcat students. The future is bright at Copeland, and we can’t wait to see the impact this investment will make! 🐾🖤💙
