This Earth Week, we’re spotlighting Augusta University’s Urban Planning & Community Development Certificate—where sustainability meets smart growth.

Augusta University MPA student & MPASA President Maryam Faiq Gardiwal represented Afghan women on the international stage at the HearUs Summit in Spain, moderating panels and presenting UN accountability recommendations focused on justice and human rights. Her work reflects how public service education can drive real-world impact for women and girls in Afghanistan.
