Week 4 was our FINAL WEEK — Career Pathways & Legal Insight — and we had a FULL HOUSE!!! 🔥
Paul from Helms College was authentic and real, sharing his personal story and encouraging our participants to continue growing professionally and learn a trade skill. Please help us show Paul some love and appreciation!
Sam Emas, Criminal Defense Attorney, came through making sure everyone knows their RIGHTS! Have you ever heard an attorney really break down the difference between being detained and being arrested? 👀 Thank you, Sam, for your time, knowledge, and continued commitment to our participants.
SSG James, U.S. Army, and PO Roy Smith, U.S. Navy, shared their personal reasons for serving our country and encouraged participants to take advantage of the opportunities and benefits the military provides. They dropped some JEWELS on ways to increase your chances of qualifying for military service. Y’all missed this one! 🇺🇸 Thank you to our military members for pouring into our participants.
Krystal with In the Door, a WorkSource Georgia affiliate, shared some information that BLEW EVERYONE AWAY… and all we are going to say is FREE!!! 👀 We are NOT telling y’all what’s free 😂 Go see Krystal at the Augusta Department of Labor office! Thank you, Krystal. We truly appreciate you!
Quentin White was presented with an award recognizing his commitment to our community. Because of the information shared, participants expressed interest in enrolling at Augusta Technical College to obtain a trade skill. Thank you, Q, for continuing to inspire people to find a career that connects with their purpose!
David and Christie facilitated the conversations around PURPOSE & DIRECTION, SMART goal setting, and understanding how to take advantage of the opportunities and benefits placed in front of you.
That’s what the Manhood & Womanhood Tour is about — bringing the information, resources, and PEOPLE directly to the community.
Equip. Empower. Transform. 💪🏾
