Our kindergarten students hit the ground running today, ready to start a new school year in our very first kindergarten class. We want to give special recognition to our board members, staff, parents, grandparents, the team from The Jacob's Ladder Group, and everyone that made this milestone possible! Next stop: welcoming our students to our early learning program for their first day! 🥳

Open House was a wonderful way to kick off the new school year! 🤍 It was a joy to welcome both new and returning families and introduce them to the incredible team that will guide and support their children throughout the year.

Now entering our eighth school year, we’re praying for another year filled with growth, learning, and unforgettable milestones! ✨

A stronger team means stronger support for the children and families we serve.

This morning, our administration and therapist took part in a team-building activity to strengthen communication, collaboration, and connection. Taking time to bond with our teammates helps us serve more effectively as we nurture, educate, and prepare God’s children to reach their full potential. 😊

One of the greatest blessings of our mission is seeing how God faithfully places the right people and organizations in Apparo Academy's path at just the right time. Through the generosity of our community partners, we are encouraged, supported, and equipped to continue the work He has called us to do.

A special thank you to MEGAH SoftWash for making our campus shine with a fresh pressure washing, and to Madison Tuten, owner of Surcheros - Augusta, GA - Washington Rd, for treating our staff to a delicious lunch during training week.

Day three of staff training focused on one of our highest priorities, the safety of our children, staff, and families.

Today, our team participated in a simulated intruder drill led by the Richmond County Sheriff's Office - Georgia SWAT Team, allowing our staff to practice emergency response procedures in a realistic training environment. 🚨👮🏽

We are incredibly grateful to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team for investing their time and expertise to help ensure our campus is prepared and our community remains safe. Thank you for your partnership and for all you do to protect and serve our community! 🙏🏽🤍

Now, we’re drying off our swimsuits, packing away the sprinklers, and getting ready for an exciting new school year! 📚🍎 We can't wait to welcome our students back for another year filled with learning, growth, therapy milestones, new friendships, and endless opportunities to thrive.
