DFA Drama Alums- I’m sure you have probably seen, but our dear trusty leader of so many years, Beverly Barnhart, has passed away. She was a special lady to us all and because of her and our wonderful school, our lives have been forever changed.

DFA’a Cara Givens was featured in ThesCon’s MainStage Closing Number with her stellar solo from ‘Phantom of the Opera’! AND Hollis Bowden, Brooks Schweser, Sarah Vergara, Jett Martin all had featured scenes and solos in the All-State Opening Number at GA ThesCon 2024. Also Emily Le was our All-State Techie extraordinaire! We were so proud of our talented DFA students! What an amazing weekend! 👏👏👏

Our very own STOs, Denzel Howard & Brandon Worth, are hosting a brand new event entitled “Beyond the Stage”! Come join us at Evans HS on January 13 noon-3pm to learn new improv games, leadership skills and for lots of fun!

Sooo proud of these awesome young people! ‘A Thurber Carnival’ placed THIRD at State AA One-Act play competition! And HUGE congrats to Hollis Bowden and Jett Martin for winning All-Star Cast! Such great theatre today! We are all feeling so happy and blessed!
