This is the link to this mornings NAR lawsuit update.

Before you listen to or belive any more misinformation about what’s going on in the industry, please take the time to get the facts about what is actually going on. I love my industry and I just want to continue to protect buyers and sellers in it.

(Will go back and edit the dead space -and my hubbies head- off of the video shortly. But wanted to just give access to everyone who is texting me for the recording.)

With the real estate industry being in the headlines and consuming so much bandwidth in 2024. You need to know what the truth is. Marlene Douglas, Owner of ...

We will see you shortly!

I’m going to go live on Zoom at 10am eastern to give a full scope update on all of chatter you’ve been hearing about the NAR DOJ lawsuits and how it changes the real estate industry.

To keep the bots and trolls out, you’ll need to access it with your name and email. But feel free to share to anyone you want.

This will be me speaking on behalf of the industry as an educator and not as a broker. Not soliciting and without ulterior motives other than getting accurate, need-to-know info out to as many people as possible. (Mainly to protect my own mental health and marriage because my blood pressure shoots through the frigging roof every time I see “industry leaders” posting dumb s**t that’s making us all look bad online. Sorry. Not sorry.)

I’ve written an outline that will benefit, lenders, appraisers, potentials buyers and sellers and of course agents. So feel free to share.

I just feel like this is the easiest way to address the masses and help everyone understand what’s going on and the effect it will have on our industry.

Who wants to be a real estate agent?? We start another live virtual session next Thursday February 22nd at 6pm.

My amazing husband pointed out some new class material on a Valentine’s Day hike yesterday. I’ll be teaching this concept during sessions 2 (the commodity we call “property”) and session 4 (Land use and Government control of property)

Who can give me the official real estate name for this orange item found in the woods?? Hint: it comes into play with property legal descriptions and boundary lines.

And reach out to Camryn Lane to register for class! I’ll see you there! 706-833-0756

Listening to the Christian radio station and she just said this. (Not word for word. But the message is perfect.)

“Today is winter solstice. Which means it’s the darkest day of the entire year. After this point the days will get brighter and brighter.
The holidays aren’t always a happy time for everyone. And if you’re going through a darkness, I hope today is the turning point where you can see more and more light in your personal situation. “

I love the perspective of thinking that today is the darkest day I’ll have all year. That means that no matter what today looks like, it can only get better from here. Let’s just set out to make that happen!
