🧡🖤 A Superintendent on a Mission! 🖤🧡

Ms. Craft is on a mission to get to know the students who make Augusta USD 402 so special, and last week she hit the road for some classroom visits!

She spent time at Augusta Schools USD 402 - Augusta Middle School and Augusta Schools USD 402 - Lincoln Elementary, popping into classrooms, meeting students, seeing learning in action, and getting a firsthand look at the amazing things happening in our schools.

At Lincoln, she even got to learn more about the great things Mrs. Strohm’s 3rd graders are doing in their classroom! From seeing students engaged in their learning to hearing about what makes their classroom special, it was a great opportunity to connect with some of our youngest Orioles. 🧡🖤

We love seeing our superintendent out in our schools, building relationships and getting to know the students, teachers, and classrooms that make USD 402 such a great place to learn!

And who knows...Ms. Craft may be popping into YOUR classroom next! 👀🧡🖤

🧡🖤 Senior Parking Spots Looking AMAZING! 🖤🧡

On Sunday, our Augusta Schools USD 402 - Augusta High School seniors brought their creativity, personality, and school spirit to life as they painted their senior parking spots! 🎨🚗

The finished spots look phenomenal, and we love seeing all the unique designs that showcase the personalities of the Class of 2027! We are also excited that their creativity caught the attention of KSN, giving our seniors some great recognition on the news! 📺👏

Yesterday, we welcomed our incredible staff back to Augusta Public Schools with a great breakfast and our annual staff kickoff with Superintendent Ms. Craft!

Ms. Craft shared her expectations and vision for the year ahead, reminding us of the important role each of us plays in creating a positive and successful experience for every student.

Most importantly, we took time to celebrate YOU! Our staff are truly amazing, and we are so thankful for the passion, dedication, and heart you bring to our schools every single day. 🧡🖤

🧡🖤 This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming our newest staff members to Augusta Public Schools!

Throughout the week, they learned about our district, our community, and all of the incredible things happening across USD 402. We are excited to have each of them join our team and can't wait to see the impact they'll make on our students.

A huge thank you goes to the amazing community organizations and partners who helped make our new staff feel right at home by providing breakfast and lunch throughout the week. Your generosity and warm hospitality truly showcase what makes Augusta such a special place.
