🧡🖤 Thankful Thursday 🖤🧡

This week’s shout out goes to Sherri at the District Office!

“My interactions with Sherri at the District Office have been amazing! She was incredibly helpful as I was getting started and working through setting up my benefits. Her kindness, patience and willingness to help made the entire process so much easier.”

Starting somewhere new comes with a lot of questions and things to figure out, and having someone there to help along the way can make all the difference.

Thank you, Sherri, for taking such great care of our staff and for everything you do behind the scenes for USD 402! 🧡🖤

🎨 Art Beyond the Classroom! 🖌️

The Augusta Schools USD 402 - Augusta High School Painting class took their creativity on the road last week with a fantastic field trip to Wichita Fine Art Atelier!

Students toured the facility and had the unique opportunity to learn from professional artists Don Praseuth and Ernest Vincent Wood III. They were able to see professional artists at work, ask questions, and gain a firsthand look at the creativity, skill, and process that goes into creating art.

Experiences like this give our students a chance to connect what they are learning in the classroom with the world beyond our school walls. 🧡🖤

A huge thank you to Wichita Fine Art Atelier, Don, and Ernest for welcoming our students and generously sharing your time, knowledge, and expertise with them!
