History is being made at Marion E. Barnes Career Center! 💈✂️✨

Our senior Barbering and Cosmetology students have officially completed the required hours needed to sit for the Georgia State Board exams to become licensed professionals! Today, they completed their final State Board practicum practice exam as they prepare to walk into their official exams ready to PASS with flying colors.

This experience was both humbling and motivating. It reminded our students that success comes from preparation, discipline, consistency, and hard work. What you put into something is truly what you get out of it! Now they know exactly what areas to sharpen as they continue preparing for greatness.

These students are on track to make HISTORY in our school district as the FIRST students to take and pass the Georgia State Board exams and become licensed professionals in the State of Georgia! We are beyond proud of their growth, perseverance, and dedication to their craft. The future is bright! 💙🔥
