It is meeting day, and every meeting is a little different.

There are different speakers, different stories, and different perspectives, but one thing stays the same.

Every person who walks into a Toastmasters meeting is there to grow.

Some are working on confidence. Some are refining their message, and some are finding their voice again.

If that sounds like you, you already belong in the room. Join us tonight at 7pm EST for our weekly meeting.

Letโ€™s be honest for a moment.
Technically, it's not the act of speaking that scares most people.

They are afraid of being seen. People donโ€™t want to be seen making a mistake, seen forgetting what to say, or seen not sounding โ€œpolished.โ€

That fear keeps a lot of voices quiet, but here is the truth.

Growth will require visibility.

At Toastmasters, we practice speaking in a space where mistakes are not failures; they're just part of the process.

You do not have to be perfect to speak. You just have to be willing.

This past weekend, our Vice President of Public Relations (VPPR) had the opportunity to attend the District 14 Toastmasters Conference, and what an experience it was.

Over two full days, the conference brought together speakers and leaders from across the district for growth, connection, and a whole lot of inspiration. From powerful educational sessions to moments of laughter and networking, every part of the experience poured into strengthening both speaking and leadership skills.

One of the highlights was witnessing the district-level contests, including the Humorous Speech Contest and the International Speech Contest. The level of excellence on those stages were something special.

We are also proud to share that Augusta Toastmasters Club 326 was recognized as a Heritage Club, established in 1945. That legacy is not something we take lightly. It is something we carry forward every time we show up, speak, and grow together.

We are grateful for the experience, the growth, and even more excited for whatโ€™s ahead.
