Which type of apple is your favorite? 🍎 🍏

A question that was heard throughout multiple Elementary classrooms today as we celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day! Students had fun tasting different apples, having apple flavored treats, learning about apples, doing apple crafts, and even making fall scented slime!

We love seeing our students have fun learning through hands on activities - nothing beats a smile on a Friday!

What a privilege it is to gather together in worship and prayer.

An act that is daily to us can be a scarce practice to other students across our country. Today at See You at the Pole, students, faculty, and parents prayed with each other for our community, state, and nation.

Today, we acknowledge the tragedy that occurred in our nation 25 years ago on 9/11. Everyday we are reminded of the blessing that our students, faculty, and staff get to experience : the freedom to worship Christ within our classroom, the ability to gather together to pray, and the peace in knowing that Jesus is our ultimate Savior.

We remember the people who lost their lives that day, the families who are remembering their loved ones, and to those who continue to fight today for our freedoms. May the Lord continue to bless our United States.

From preschool to seniors, our students have been learning, creating, and growing!

Our Preschoolers strengthened their cutting skills, Kindergarten developed a Creation timeline, our 4th Graders worked on their phonics, 8th Grade collaborated on Bible presentations, and our Economics class went head to head in a fierce game of Pit to learn about the concept of commodities.

It’s only the second week of school and we’re already learning so much!
