A vision is now becoming a reality in these beautiful young ladies as we celebrated the Induction Ceremony of our very first Diamonds of Distinction Debutante Club.

My deepest gratitude goes to all the parents who entrusted their daughters to Cheryl’s Courtesy Academy, and to everyone who played a part in making this celebration so special.

This is only the beginning of the legacy we pray to build in Augusta, with the hope that more young ladies will have the opportunity to experience an event like this, grow in confidence, character, leadership, and grace, and create memories that will last a lifetime. đź’Ž

🍽️ Etiquette Creates Opportunity

Knowing how to navigate a formal dinner may seem like a small skill.

But knowing how to confidently enter an unfamiliar environment can be life-changing.

Understanding which utensil to use, how to handle your napkin, and how to carry yourself at the table may seem like small details. But these skills can help you feel more comfortable and prepared when you find yourself in unfamiliar settings.

A young person who understands dining etiquette may feel more confident at a formal dinner, college event, or special occasion.

A professional who understands business etiquette may feel more prepared at a networking event or business dinner.

These are the moments where etiquette becomes more than manners.

It becomes preparation.
Preparation for the room you haven’t entered yet.
Preparation for the opportunity you haven’t seen coming.

Because sometimes, learning the little things today prepares you for the bigger moments tomorrow.

This past Saturday, I had the honor of speaking on a topic that speaks deeply to the journey of healing:
“You Are Bigger Than Your Brokenness: Go On, Heal.”

One of the reminders I shared was this:
Think about a stained glass window. It is made up of pieces that have been broken, shaped, and carefully brought together. Yet when the light shines through, you don’t focus on where each piece was broken. You see the beauty of what those pieces have become.

And maybe that’s a word for someone today.

Your broken places do not disqualify you from becoming something beautiful. The pieces of your story that you thought ruined you may become the very places where your light shines through the brightest.

Healing doesn’t mean pretending the breaking never happened. It means refusing to let what broke you have the final word.

You are still here.
You are still becoming.
You are still worthy.
And you are bigger than your brokenness.
So go on… HEAL.
