A few weeks ago our preschoolers got their hands dirty planting flowers and learning how to care for living things! Through science activities like this children build responsibility, practice fine motor skills, and take pride in watching their work grow 🌱

I spy with my little eye… some tiny turtle friends! 🐢 🔍 We recently took a walk to check out how the pond is looking for our upcoming field trip, and we spotted some exciting little visitors along the way. We’ve been exploring the different signs of life that we may see on our walk!🦋🪺We cannot wait for all the fun to come tomorrow!

Our program is built around a play-based learning approach, where hands-on experiences spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence. 📚We thoughtfully design our curriculum around the interests of the children, while aligning with the Maine Early Learning and Development Standards to ensure meaningful growth in all areas of development. At our school, children learn through independence, friendships, and discovering a love for learning and having fun! 🤩

Our program runs October through May; Monday, Wednesday, Friday ⏰ 9:30am-1:00pm.

We’ve had so many wonderful moments and activities happening over the past few weeks! From hands-on learning to creative play, it’s been busy in the best way.
We know we are a bit behind on getting pictures uploaded, we are working on catching up so you can see all the fun and the learning that’s been taking place.

A few weeks ago, our littles took an exciting adventure to our Med/Vet program right here at CATC! 🩺🐾 They were full of curiosity and wonder as they explored the world of caring for both people and animals. From learning about tools and equipment to seeing how professionals help keep us and our furry friends safe and healthy! It was such a fun and meaningful experience for all involved!

This field trip started up our health/wellness unit and the children have been working hard on ways to keep our classroom safe from germs 🦠

We’re so grateful for opportunities like this that bring learning to life and spark big dreams in little minds💙

Our students had so much fun showcasing their skills in Bangor for Skills USA- congratulations to Ella for bringing home silver in Courtesy Corps.🥈We are so proud of all their hardwork and dedication.
