This year for our Back to School Bash, we are hoping to provide water bottles and more hygiene kits for our students. We truly feel these are items that many children would benefit from and use daily.

If anyone knows of the best places to purchase these items in bulk, receive donations, or find good deals, please let me know. We are always thankful for any support that helps us better serve the children in our community ❤️

So cute!

So cute!

Meet Winston, the newest member of our EMS team!

At just 12 weeks old, Winston is already beginning his journey as a therapy dog in training, bringing comfort, encouragement and connection to the people who care for others every day.

Winston has healthcare in his blood, as his father serves as the chief barking officer of AdventHealth Wesley Chapel in Florida. He joins a mission of supporting emotional well-being across our EMS team and serving our communities across Georgia.

As Winston grows into his role, he’ll help support team members during demanding moments and attend educational and community events alongside our EMS crews. Winston’s handlers will be AdventHealth Georgia EMS paramedics Jodie Johnston and Jennifer Logan, who will help guide and support him throughout his training journey and beyond.

During EMS Week, we’re reminded that caring for others also means supporting the well-being of the people who serve every day. That makes this the perfect time to welcome Winston to our EMS team.

We’re also deeply grateful to the AdventHealth Georgia Foundation Board for supporting this program. All costs associated with Winston’s training and care will be covered through the generosity of the AdventHealth Georgia Foundation.

We’re grateful to welcome this four-legged teammate as he helps bring a little more comfort, joy and calm wherever he goes.
