Graduation Day is today. We cordially invite all graduates and their families to attend at 8:00 am.

Please be advised that parking in the Post Office parking lot or blocking the entrance is not permitted and may result in towing of vehicles at the owner's expense.

Big congratulations to our staff that is retiring or moving on to other ventures! We had a wonderful time celebrating you and hope you felt the love Laney style.

Today we surprised Dr. Middleton with his favorite saying on our shirts. He was definitely surprised when he walked in to work. This concluded our underground spirit week for staff. We will miss our staff that is moving on to other locations or retiring and we wish them all the best. Once a Wildcat... Always a Wildcat!

Shout out to S.O.A.R. for making these shirts happen for us! They look great!

CONGRATULATIONS to our very own
Mrs. Kendrick for her award of ESOL teacher of the year for Richmond County! We are so thankful for the work she does with our English Language Learners and collaboration with other teachers and classes. Thank you for all you do! This honor is well deserved!

Lucy C. Laney Comprehensive High School, Richmond Hill Elementary School, W.S. Hornsby Elementary School and To***co Road Elementary School were named among 220 schools from 38 states to receive a $5,000 grant through the Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries.

Through this funding, new books and library resources will be added to support student learning, spark curiosity and inspire a lifelong love of reading.
