Calling all UMA students! The 2026 UMA Student Art Exhibition submissions are now OPEN! Have you taken an art class at UMA this year? If so, you can submit your work to the exhibition! Woo hooo!!
To submit your work, here are some things to know:
✅You can submit up to nine works - three from three different classes you've taken in the Fall 2025 - Spring 2026 semesters (this academic year). You can also submit works that you created in your art classes after submissions ended for last year's show.
✅All artworks must be ready to hang (unless they're sculptures and aren't intended to hang - you get the picture! 😉)
Submissions:
✅Enter an online form for each artwork you're submitting via the link in our bio or the QR code on the slide.
✅Print those forms and attach them to the actual artworks you're submitting so we can match online forms with artworks in the gallery.
✅Drop off your artworks with their forms in the gallery (for 2D works) or in the sculpture studio (for 3D works) anytime between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday this week (March 23-24).
Jurying will be Wednesday morning! Our jurors are the awesome artists Kate Russo (Kate Russo) and Tom Butler (Tom Butler)!
🎉LAST! Plan to come celebrate with your friends, family, and fellow UMA artists on Sunday, March 29 at 1:00 p.m. at the opening reception!
