Let me say something to the wives and future wives:
Marriage will reveal you to YOU. 👀

You can think you're patient…
until somebody tests that patience.

You can think you're a great communicator… until you're having THAT conversation. 😂

You can think you know yourself…
until you're sharing a life, space, money, decisions and dreams with another human being.

Marriage isn't just about finding the right person.

It's also about becoming the kind of person who can BUILD something healthy with another person.

And hunny, that takes WORK. ❤️

There is something that happens when a woman finally gets away from the noise.
Away from the responsibilities.
Away from everybody needing something.

Away from the constant “I'm good.”

And she gets a chance to simply… BE.

That's the heart of The REFUGE.
It's not just a retreat.
It's a pause.
A reset.

A place to exhale, hear yourself again, and make room for what God is doing in you.

And after watching what happened at our last Refuge…

Eventually…
the masks come off.

The “I'm fine”
The “I got it”
The “I'm just tired”
The “I'm good”
Fades. And somebody finally says: "Okay… can we be REAL?”

THAT'S the kind of room I wanted when I created Leading Ladies.

You know what I've learned from doing The REFUGE Retreats?

Sometimes women don't need another thing to DO. They need somewhere to BE.

Be still.
Be honest.
Be tired.
Be quiet.
Be vulnerable.
Be with God.

That's why I created REFUGE.
Not to give women another weekend on their calendar...
But to give them room to breathe.

Sometimes the best thing you can give your spouse isn't advice... It's grace.

Everybody has bad days.
Everybody gets tired.
Everybody misses the mark sometimes.

Marriage isn't two perfect people. It's two people learning how to love each other through real life.

And sometimes... You just need to hug that man and say,
"Baby, we alright." 😂🤎

Honestly?
It's hard to explain.Because it's more than a retreat.

It's the deep breath you've been needing.

It's the uninterrupted time with God you've been putting off.

It's the conversations that remind you you're not carrying life alone.

It's where weary women remember who they are.

And every single time...
God meets us there.

Sometimes I just sit back and smile.

Because years ago, I prayed that God would allow me to create spaces where women could heal, grow, laugh, cry, and become everything He created them to be.

And now I get to watch Him answer that prayer. 🙏🏽

To every woman who has trusted me enough to sit in the room... Thank you.

You remind me every single month why I do this. 💜
