Please join us in congratulating Kelli Braun, MD ’04, on her appointment as the Medical College of Georgia's next Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, effective Aug. 1! After completing her OB/GYN residency in Augusta, Dr. Braun joined the MCG faculty in 2008 and has dedicated her career to educating and mentoring the next generation of physicians. Since 2017, she has served as associate dean of admissions, and in 2024, she was recognized with the MCG Professionalism Award for her outstanding service. Congratulations, Dr. Braun, on this well-deserved achievement! We look forward to seeing your continued impact on MCG and its students. Help us congratulate David Alalof and Meryl Hammer Alalof , Augusta University college sweethearts who celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past December! For six decades, the Alalofs have remained devoted supporters of Augusta University. Their generosity has made a lasting impact on generations on students. They’ve supported research and education through philanthropy and created more opportunities for high schoolers in the CSRA through their work in education.

Calling all Augusta University College of Nursing alumni! This fall, rising second-year CON students will celebrate their White Coat Ceremony, a milestone that marks the beginning of their clinical training.

Please take a moment to write a White Coat Note and share a few words of encouragement, advice, or wisdom. Each note will be printed and placed on a student's chair before the White Coat Ceremony on August 28, giving them a meaningful reminder that they have the support of the nursing alumni community.

Meet Ansleigh Davis (BBA '23), founder and creative director of Wildflower Florals, a luxury floral design studio creating unforgettable weddings and bespoke events across Georgia and the Southeast. As a Digital Marketing and Art grad, Davis combines creativity, storytelling, and entrepreneurial expertise to design floral experiences that are as meaningful as they are beautiful. Her work has been featured in Atlanta Style Weddings, and she continues to help couples bring their vision to life on their most important day.
