This local celebration aims to stimulate environmental awareness and promote sustainable living initiatives in the CSRA.

Hosted at the scenic Phinizy Swamp Nature Park, the annual Earth Day Augusta celebration is free to the community. The mission of this local celebration is “to stimulate environmental awareness and promote sustainable living initiatives in the CSRA.” This dovetails perfectly with the global Earth Day initiative. Expect recycling & sustainable education activities, local vendors, food vendors, children’s activities, recycled art projects, animals, local entertainment, hay rides, etc.
