Steal this: your IEP snapshot for gen ed teachers.

Handing a general education teacher the entire IEP isn't realistic, and it's not what the law actually requires. What matters is that they know their specific role in it.

Build a one page snapshot with: the student's strengths, current goals in plain language, accommodations that apply in their classroom, any behavior or support information, and what actually helps this student succeed.

Under I.D.E.A., every teacher responsible for implementing the IEP must be informed of their specific responsibilities related to it (34 CFR 300.323(d)). A clear one-pager is how you make that real instead of theoretical.
