Barnes Career Center students stepped into their futures at our College & Career Fair on Feb. 18, connecting with colleges, employers, and training programs ready to help them turn goals into plans. From exploring majors to learning about scholarships, certifications, and career pathways—this opportunity was all about options, next steps, and opportunities.

“Students completing the Fine Arts Pathway graduated at a rate of 97.76% in 2025. T.W. Josey Comprehensive High School recorded the largest year-over-year gain in the category, improving 4.35 percentage points.”

Congratulations Eagles Keep SOARING🟢🟡

Seven schools in the Richmond County School System (RCSS) were among just 43 schools statewide named to the Georgia Department of Education’s FY25 Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI) Progress List. The recognition highlights CSI schools that met state-defined benchmarks for academic growth.

Congratulations to our schools for their academic achievements.

Let’s congratulate our T.W. Josey Eagles for being recognized by the Georgia Department of Education as 1 of 43 schools across the state for making “significant” improvements…. 🟢🟡

“This year, 43 CSI schools were identified as making progress. To be recognized, CSI schools had to show a 5% increase in the CCRPI Content Mastery component score from 2024 to 2025 and have a score of 80 or higher on one of the other components (Progress, Closing Gaps, or Readiness)…..”
